Some questions clients ask us;

  1. What defines a major renovation versus a minor renovation?
  2. Does NAK charge an additional fee to manage renovation projects?

Minor Renovations: May include adjustments inside walls to an existing room without changing the walls or structure itself that makes up the room. Includes making adjustments to such items as electrical, plumbing, exhaust venting or HVAC relocation, new lights or other electrical, new flooring and in some cases new windows and of course the cabinetry. Basically any adjustments needed within the current framework of the room or house that doesn’t involve adding or removing walls. NAK does NOT charge extra to manage minor renovations as long as a cabinet purchase has been made from NAK to be included in the project. We consider this a value added service.

Major Renovations: Any project that involves additions or changes that impact the structure itself. This includes new additions, new foundations and roofing as well as any changes to an existing structure that involve removing or adding new walls. This includes replacing current load bearing walls with engineer approved structural solutions. NAK does charge an additional fee for such projects. Please contact NAK for more details.

Another question most clients ask us is;
Do you provide free estimates?

Answer: Yes, absolutely! While some time limitations and conditions may apply, we generally can give a fairly accurate price and we make it our aim to stick to it. We also pride ourselves on giving accurate and fair prices on cabinets on the very first visit. So yes we come to your home by appointment, we discuss your goals, we educate about materials, we measure, we calculate and when we leave you have your project price and it’s in writing.
